Fermoie is an innovative textile designer and manufacturer. We design print and sell beautiful bespoke fabrics and accessories.
We create original fabrics; from weaving, dying and inspirational first studio drawing to a unique take on original printing, alongside delightful home accessories which bring our fabrics to life.

We are looking for someone to join our team who already has some Project Management experience and is looking to take their next step. This role is a central role that will touch each team within Fermoie, providing a great opportunity to develop a broader business understanding and deliver change throughout the business. We want someone who’s excited to get involved in a variety of projects, is enthusiastic about change and can motivate themselves and others.

Job description / main responsibilities
A wide variety of projects across many different functional areas will be delivered; ranging from organising a company sale, to helping deliver new product development projects, to on-boarding an entirely new site location.
Being the Sustainability Lead will be a key area of responsibility, as we look to someone to design and deliver the roadmap that will take us from our current position to our aspiration of being Carbon Neutral by 2030 and Carbon Net Zero by 2040. Projects could range from delivering changes to our site infrastructure, taking our raw materials to the next level and taking our team to the next level as we qualify for B-Corp.
Managing our site will enable change to be made quickly and efficiently, with more sustainable site suppliers being identified and on-boarded, supported by good project management practises.
Skills / experience needed
- A minimum of 3 years’ Project Management experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; a positive influencer
- A good self-starter with a highly proactive nature
- PC literate with good experience of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem solver
- Solution focussed
- Ability to work under pressure, balancing short and long-term goals
- Ability to work autonomously, summarising information and providing recommendations

What you’ll get
- £30k per year, rising to £31k upon passing your probation (usually 3 months)

Reports to: Paint Team Supervisor
Job description / main responsibilities
The Production Technician role sits within our Paint team, working closely alongside our Print team, with both teams reporting into the Production Team Leader.
This role focuses on quality control and stock management of Fermoie’s unprinted base cloths within the warehouse area, while being fully trained to both assist with making paints and working with our print team to produce finished fabrics. This role can involve being on your feet for a full shift and will involve manual handling.
Full training will be given to the successful candidate.

We are looking for someone to join our team of four people at our Flagship Showroom in Pimlico, on a part-time Saturday basis. The role will involve answering telephone calls and emails, assisting customers in their fabric and accessories choices, processing orders and payments whilst fulfilling other administrative duties.
Reporting to: Showroom Managers
Place of Work: Fermoie Showroom, Pimlico, London
Primary Responsibilities
- Excellent customer service for all visitors in the showroom
- Answering and fielding calls, helping with customer enquiries
- Answering emails as allocated by the Showroom Managers
- An inspiring brand ambassador with a keen eye for detail; advising clients on all Fermoie products to assist customers in visualising their design ideas
- Processing of orders placed in the Showroom and via email, communication with clients in relation to orders and product advice; lampshade sizing, colour queries etc.
- Processing sample requests
- Excellent communication within team to ensure outstanding knowledge base of all areas relevant to customers
